day holiday tour featuring Tallinn and rural areas of
Estonia from £480 per person
A new individual itinerary which starts
in the medieval city of Tallinn and using the excellent
local bus connections includes stays in a border town,
a university city and a seaside resort. The itinerary
can be extended to include Saaremaa and Hiiumaa Islands
to complete the highlights of Estonia.
The border town of Narva, sadly neglected
from most travel itineraries, is a worthwhile stop even
just for viewing two ancient frontier fortresses facing
each other across a river - Hermann Castle on the Estonian
side, and the Ivangorod Castle over on the Russian side.
We can easily extend relaxing stays in Pärnu with
its wide stretch of white sand beach, a magnificent,
historic town centre, leafy park areas and quiet streets
lined with early 20th-century villas

Take bus to Narva (journey takes around 3 hours
and departures twice hourly) and check-in hotel
for overnight stay. |

Take bus to Tartu (journey takes around 3 1/2
hours and around eight departures daily) and check-in
hotel for 2 nights.

Free in day in Tartu to explore at leisure.

Take bus to Pärnu (journey takes around 2
1/2 hours and around twenty departures daily)
