This group tour visits these four fabulous
cities staying in good quality four-star hotels (three-star
in St Petersburg). We include sightseeing tours in each
city as well as en route. There are plenty of optional
excursions you can pre-book to complete your experience
of travelling through these wonderful cities or enjoy
the free time to explore at leisure.

Itinerary

| Day 1 |
FLY TO RIGA
Transfer to hotel and check-in for 3 nights. |
| Day 2 |
FREE DAY TO EXPLORE RIGA.
Free day to explore Riga.
OPTIONAL: A morning
tour (4 hours) of the stunning scenery in the Gauja
National Park and the town of Sigulda. You will
listen to the Medieval Latvian legend of the Rose
of Turaida and see Majas Tombstone,
mysterious Gutman Cave, the ruins of the Episcopal
Castle and the castle of the Knights of the Sword
before returning to Riga. Rest of day at leisure. |
| Day 3 |
RIGA.
Morning tour of the Old Town including Riga Castle,
Dome Cathedral, St. Peters Church, the Swedish
Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small
Guilds and Freedom Monument.
Afternoon visit to the Ethnographic Open Air
Museum (3 hours), depicting 18th century Latvian
countryside life. In the evening you can enjoy
a Baltic seafood dinner at the stylish Restaurant
La Boheme.

| Day 4 |
RIGA TO TALLINN VIA PÄRNU
The tour continues along the costal highway to
the Estonian summer resort of Pärnu, with
a short tour of the town and a leisurely stroll
along white sand beach. Arrive Tallinn and check-in
hotel for 2 nights.

| Day 5 |
TALLINN
Morning sightseeing tour of Tallinn Old Town including
the old medieval city walls, Toompea Castle, the
Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and medieval
Old Town Hall.
Afternoon excursion is offered to Kadriorg Park
(3 hours) with a visit to the recently re-opened
Kadriorg Palace and its art collections. In the
evening you can sample a genuine medieval dinner
at the Restaurant Peppersack.

TALLINN TO HELSINKI
Take morning hydrofoil to Helsinki, transfer to
hotel for 2 nights and rest of day free to explore
Helsinki at leisure.

| Day 7 |
HELSINKI
Morning sightseeing tour of Helsinki including
its harbours, Mannerheim Street, Finlandia Hall,
the Sibelius Monument and a visit to the famous
Church-in the-Rock.
OPTIONAL: Afternoon
excursion by waterbus to the historic Suomenlinna
Fortress.

Day 8
|
HELSINKI TO ST PETERSBURG
Drive eastwards to St Petersburg. Sightseeing
tour of Vyborg including Vyborg Castle, before
late afternoon arrival in St Petersburg. Check-in
hotel for 3 nights.

ST PETERSBURG
Morning sightseeing tour of St Petersburg including
the Peter and Paul Fortress, Winter Palace, St.
Isaacs Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding
Savior, Nevsky Convent and much more.
OPTIONAL: Afternoon visit to the world-famous Hermitage
Art Museum and in the evening ballet performance
at the Hermitage Theatre. |

ST PETERSBURG
Free day to explore at leisure. |

FLY TO UK
Free morning before transfer to airport for flight
back to the UK. |
