This itinerary is a great way to combine
Tallinn with the delights of the Pädaste Manor
on Muhu Island. Muhu Island is an unspoilt treasure,
characterised by its rolling meadows, juniper forests,
and isolated farms. The dolomite cliff and caves on
the northern shore, the 13th century St Catharine’s
Church, abandoned Soviet missile base and the old Koguva
fishing village are all worth a visit during your stay.
Extensions can be added to include stays
on Saaremaa Island, where you can hire a car and be
free to explore such sights as the Angla windmills,
Kaali Meteorite Crater, Mikhli Farm Museum, medieval
churches and nature reserves..

Free day to explore Muhu Island or relax
with the various spa treatments on offer in Pädaste
Manor (payable locally). Lunch and Dinner included.

KURESSAARE TO TALLINN
After lunch, transfer to Kuressaare airport, and
fly back to Tallinn. Arrive Tallinn and transfer
to hotel for overnight stay.

Pädaste
Manor, Muju Island

Located on the southern tip of Muhu Island by
the sea, this wonderful resort is a member of
the Small Luxury Hotels of the World chain.
The Pädaste Manor dates back to the 16th
century and offers superb accommodation with a
small Spa centre and a restaurant. There are 4 comfortable rooms and 8 suites fully
renovated and adorned with antique furniture.
Suites have private balconies with a picturesque
view to the bay. There is also a newly-opened
private farmhouse that offers luxury accommodation
for guests who prefer more privacy.
The restaurant provides wonderful dishes of contemporary
Estonian cuisine, which are served either on the
sea view terrace or inside by the fireplace. During
the summer, the Seahouse Restaurant & Terrace
offers a wide selection of drinks and a splendid
a la carte menu.
You can relax in their Spa centre with a full-body
aromatherapy massage, volcanic clay mask or mud
treatment. There is a Roman steam bath with natural
herbal extracts and a Muhu wood-burning sauna
with fresh birch and juniper keg. The spa-terrace is an ideal place to while away
endless hours overlooking the bay.
