Holidays
in The Baltics - Tour Itineraries
An 8
day two city tour from £785
per person
The medieval capital of Tallinn sits
proudly on the Baltic coast 30 miles from Helsinki.
It is the most visited and most modern of the Baltic
capitals, awash with chic cafés and gourmet restaurants,
but still maintaining its historical Estonian character.
St Petersburg, Russia's neighbouring second city, is
eight hours away by road (overnight train or ferry option
may be available - please check with the office). This
fantastic former capital was designed by Peter the Great
as an exercise in urban beauty and is rightly proud
of its heritage. Architectural boasts include a stunning
range of attractions from ornate palaces to world-famous
galleries.
NEW - A new train service has started up again between Tallinn and St Petersburg. The train departs
15:25 from Tallinn and arrives St Petersburg 23:25 (local time). If you would prefer to travel by train - please advise your Tours Manager as we can include this train at no extra cost (seat only). If you would prefer a couchette we can book this at £10 per person supplement.
