This individual itinerary combines the
delights of Vilnius and Kaunas with one of the most
beautiful areas of Lithuania - Aukstaitija National
Park. Established as Lithuania’s first national
park in 1974, Aukstaitija has traditionally been popular
with Lithuanian holiday-makers. The area’s protected
status helps to promote the sustainable use of an important
landscape: shelter for the rare plants and forest animals,
better recreational facilities for visitors, and the
continuation of rural occupations. Aukstaitija is a
park of lakes, actually 126 of them and it is these
interconnected lakes, with its vast array of ancient
trees and unrivalled vistas that make a stay here truly
memorable.

Take bus to Kaunas. (There are many departures a
day and the journey takes just over an hour) and

Private transfer from Kaunas to Hotel Belvilis
for 2 night stay.

|

This stylish hotel is located in the Moletai
region surrounded by fragrant pine trees near
Bebrusai Lake.
The hotel has 12 double and 2 suite apartments,
as well as a selection of cottages. The double
rooms are spacious and modern with LCD TV sets
with cable, air-conditioning and wireless internet
connection.
Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant
and a selection of pools and baths (payable locally).
There is plenty to do in the local area –
you can take a trip by canoe on Bebrusai Lake
and surrounding Stirniai, Baltieji and Juodieji
Lakajai, Siesartis and Kirneilis Lakes as well
as walks or mountain biking in nearby forests.
The hotel can arrange fishing and in winter,
hire skates for ice-skating across the lakes.
