BESTSELLER
RE/04: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE    £46 per person
Gullfoss – Geysir – Thingvellir National Park
Duration: 8 Hours.  Operation: Year Round
Departures: Daily at 09:00 Hours.
This has been our most popular tour for many years - and with good reason. The day is spent encountering a cross-section of Iceland’s natural wonders, geology and history, making numerous stops along the way in order to experience Iceland’s nature up-close and personal.   Locations visited: Hveragerdi Greenhouse Village.  Iceland’s most famous and picturesque waterfall ‘Gullfoss’, known as ‘The Golden Falls’ - the Queen of Iceland’s waterfalls.

After lunch (optional) we continue to explore the nearby Geysir geothermal area, bubbling with activity, where hot springs are in abundance and the active Geysir ‘Strokkur’ spouts every 15 minutes. Visit the Geysir Museum (admission included), an informative, multimedia exhibition that vividly shows how the forces of nature shaped the country and its people down through the ages. Continue via Lake Laugarvatn to *Thingvellir National Park, a place of great geological interest and the site of the ‘Althing’, Iceland’s oldest Parliament founded in 930. (*only visited during the winter months when road conditions allow).

RE/15: SOUTH SHORE ADVENTURE   £63 per person
Duration: 10 Hours.  Operation: Year Round
Departures: Daily at 09:00 Hours.
South Iceland is a lowland region of lush farmlands, striking waterfalls, sandy coastlines, glaciers and quaint towns and villages.  This tour offers a wide range of scenery and goes through areas of great contrast in nature.  Visitors will have an opportunity to stand behind a plummeting waterfall, walk along a beach of black sand, gaze at natural rock formations and feel the amazing power of a glacier (if road conditions allow). A stop will be made for lunch (optional) at Vik i Myrdal, Iceland’s southernmost village, surrounded by beautiful and impressively high cliffs, full of bird life in the Spring and Summer months. Here we will also pay a visit the unique Skogar museum before returning to Reykjavik. A truly fulfilling experience and a great way to spend a day in Iceland!

Operation: Year Round Tuesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays  Departure: 08:30 Hours.
Exciting Super Jeep Tour around the classical sights of South West Iceland, known as the ‘Golden Circle’, in combination with:

1. Snowmobiling Tour on white snowfields or Langjokull – Iceland’s second largest glacier, depending on snow conditions.

2. Quad Biking through mountainous desert highlands. This excursion offers you a chance to see and experience some of Iceland’s greatest natural phenomena, geology and history, and for an optional–extra, including a 1 Hour Snowmobiling or Quad Biking Activity.

With the guidance and stops along the way you will become a part of the nature and a part of our history. The waterfall Gullfoss is something you will never forget and to some people it is the queen of Icelandic waterfalls. High and mighty it looks at you before it tumbles violently into the deep gorge. We visit the geothermal area in Haukadalur where you can see geysers erupt. Strokkur is one of the largest and most powerful geysers and Strokkur erupts almost every 10 minutes.

A stop is made for lunch (optional) giving you the opportunity to walk around the bubbling mud pools and exploding geysers in the area. We will visit Nesjavellir, a high temperature geothermal area on our way to Thingvellir National Park where ‘The Althing’ parliament was founded over 1000 years ago. At Thingvellir you will see how the earth is ever so slowly pulling apart along the crystal plates and you will be able to stand where the Viking settlers stood centuries ago.
