I enjoyed a visit to the Tamgaly Tash Petroglyphs in Tamgaly Gorge, where 4,000 unique petroglyphs were discovered, including scenes depicting hunting and religious rituals as well as a host of animals such as mountain sheep, goats, steppe antelope and Przhevalsky’s horses.
