PRAGUE Fly to Prague, private transfer to Hotel Cloister Inn for 2
nights. | | Day 2 | PRAGUE
Prague is an excellent city to explore on foot. It was relatively untouched during
the Second World War and so much of its stunning architecture has been preserved
intact. Take a walk along the cobbled streets of the old town, meander across
Charles Bridge towards the Castle District, from which there is a spectacular
panoramic view of the city of 100 spires or take a romantic boat trip

PRAGUE - KARLOVY VARY Pick up your car and
set off for your journey to Karlovy Vary ( 126 kilometres ). The western part
of the Czech Republic is well known for its attractive spa towns, where you can
learn about traditional medicinal treatments and the therapeutic healing of hot
thermal springs. Check-in to Hotel Svycarsky Dvur for 2 nights. |

VARY Free day in Karlovy Vary to explore at leisure. The world famous
spa town of Karlovy Vary, situated in a green valley of the River Teplá
is also known by its German name of Karlsbad and was founded in 1350 by the Czech
King and Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV. The towns famous visitors over the
years have included Casanova, Beethoven, Mozart and Franz Kafka. |
| Day 5 | KARLOVY
VARY - MARIÁNSKÉ LÁZNE Depart for Mariánské
Lázne. Stop en route, only 14 kilometres away, at the small town of Loket,
where you can learn about the history of its magnificent 12th Century Gothic castle.
Continue on to Mariánské Lázne or extend your spa journey
by visiting an attractive area of Becov nad Teplou ( 20 kilometres from Loket
) and Lazne Kynzvart ( 22 kilometres from Becov and Teplou ). The renovated
Kynvart Chateau is the former home of the Austrian Chancellor Klemens von
Metternich and was owned by his family for many years. After the Velvet Revolution
of the 1990s the castle was renovated and now exhibits one of the oldest
libraries in Bohemia. There are more than 24,000 books including a precious fragment
from the Old Testament from the 8th Century. Check-in to Hotel Svoboda for 2 nights. |
| Day 6 | MARIÁNSKÉ
LÁZNE Free day in Mariánské Lázne to explore
at leisure. Mariánské Lázne is the second largest Czech spa
with 40 springs in the town and 100 in the surrounding area. In 1866, Mariánské
Lázne was declared a city and by the beginning of the 20th century ranked
among the most important spa centres in Europe. An important architectural monument
of the city is the pseudo-Baroque cast-iron Colonnade. The water from the Cross,
Caroline's and Rudolph's Springs is piped to the Colonnade for visitors to drink.
The Singing Fountain, located in front of the Colonnade, also captures the attention
of visitors as every other hour, it dances to the accompaniment of music and at
9 and 10 p.m. is accompanied by a light show. | | Day
7 | MARIÁNSKÉ LÁZNE - DOMAZLICE
- CESKY KRUMLOV Depart for Domazlice
( 69 kilometres ). This picturesque town is admired for its beautiful national
costumes, its famous pottery and over 200 historical buildings in Gothic, Renaissance
and Baroque style. Continue south, passing through The Sumava Mountains to finally
reach one of UNESCOs protected towns - Cesky Krumlov Check-in to Hotel Barbora

8 | CESKY KRUMLOV Free day in Cesky Krumlov
to explore at leisure. Enjoy the stunning beauty of this small medieval town.
Explore its narrow alleys with its many restaurants and little cafes. Visit the
second largest 13th Century Gothic castle in the Czech Republic and enjoy the
breath-taking view of the town from the top of the castle tower. The evening is
just perfect to experience the legendary Revolving Theatre, located in the theatre
garden.Or take a trip to Ceske Budejovice (27 kilometres north ) well known
for the beer brewed there since the 13th Century and do not forget a trip to Hluboka.
This Neo-Gothic Chateau surrounded by a large English park is definitely worth

KRUMLOV - JINDRICHUV HRADEC Today your journey will continue to Jindrichuv
Hradec ( 77 kilometres ). Stop en-route to visit another historical jewel of the
south called Trebon ( 47 km from Cesky Krumlov ) a small fortified town established
in the early 13th century. Check-in to Hotel Grand in Jindrichuv Hradec for 2

HRADEC Free day in Jindrichuv Hradec to explore at leisure. The city
castle and palace is the third largest in the country after those in Prague and
Ceský Krumlov, covers 3 hectares and contains 320 rooms. More than 10,000
works of art and a similar number of books can be found there. Visit the towns
many churches and the marketplace (Friendensplatz) with its pristine Gothic city
hall.Not very far from Jindrichuv Hradec, about 15 km north-west, there is
a charming water chateau called Cervena Lhota. This picturesque Renaissance building
dates back to the 15th century. | | Day
11 | DEPARTURE Free day before setting off
for your journey to drop off car at Prague Ruzyne Airport and take your flight
home. It takes approximately 2 hours from Jindrichuv Hradec to the airport( 172
kilometres ). |
