Formerly the residence of Hungarian noble Count Nándor Zichy, this wonderfully ornate 19th century boutique hotel is a real delight. This Budapest hotel may ooze history but the facilities are definitely contemporary, with state-of-the-art guestrooms featuring flat-screen televisions and stylish furnishings. Close to the Grand Boulevard on the Pest side of the city, the hotel is a five minute walk from the Hungarian National Museum. Enjoy a full buffet breakfast served in the unique glass-roofed restaurant and after a full day sightseeing perhaps indulge in a cocktail in the lobby bar or head to the sauna to unwind before a night at the opera.
The Hotel Palazzo Zichy was a superb hotel. It could not be bettered! Thank you
