When I lived in Kyiv I visited the National Museum of Chernobyl. Not the easiest to find but this museum does an excellent job of actually making you feel like you are at the site of the infamous nuclear accident. Road signs from towns and villages near Chernobyl greet you as you ascend the stairs, and as you descend the signs are crossed out to signify your departure. They do not get too many visitors so go along as there is a donation for the victims of this disaster.
