A 9 day special one-off tour for
2005which takes in, along with the main sites, a visit to
the Mt.Paekdu area - a rarely visited part of North Korea
that can only be accessed by a specially chartered flight

Day 1
Fri 26 Aug |
Arrive Beijing and transfer to
Hotel Xinqiao, Beijing |
Day 2
Sat 27 Aug |
Transfer from hotel to airport for flight
to Pyongyang. Early afternoon arrival in Pyongyang.
Meet with guide and transfer from airport to the Hotel
Yanggakdo. Evening circus performance. |
Day 3
Sun 28 Aug |
Pyongyang City tour
to include the Juche Tower, Arch of Triumph, Kim Il
Sung Square and the Mansudae Grand Monuments in the
morning. In the afternoon we travel south to Kaesong,
where we will stay at the Folkcustoms hotel. |
Day 4
Mon 29 Aug |
Today we visit Panunjom, the Koryo Museum
and Tomb of King Kongmin before returning to Pyongyang
in the afternoon.

Day 5
Tue 30 Aug |
This morning we depart Pyongyang on a specially chartered
flight to Mt. Paekdu. Upon arrival we will
tour Lake Chon, Samjoyon Grand Monuments, Paekdu Secret
Camp Native House and overnight at the Begebong Hotel.

Day 6
Wed - 31 Aug |
This morning we visit the Paekdu Muesuem, Chongbong
Secret Camp and Rimyongsu Falls, before returning
back to Pyongyang at 16.30, arriving at 18.00

Day 7
Thu 01 Sep |
This morning we transfer to Mt. Myohyang and
visit the international Friendship Exhibition, Pohyon
Temple and spend time walking in the mountains in
the afternoon. Overnight at the Hyangsan Temple.

Day 8
Fri 02 Sep
|
Today we return to Pyongyang where we visit
the War Museum, "Pueblo," and the Children's
Palace, amongst other things - before enjoying a farewell
dinner

Day 9
Sat 03 Sep |
Depart to airport for flight back to Beijing or depart
to railway station for train to Dandong or Beijing.

1. You must have a North Korean visa before entering
North Korea. This is done in London and costs £50
per person.
2. We need at least 6 weeks notice to book any tours
to North Korea.
3. You will need a double entry Chinese visa which
costs £72. This is processed in the UK before
departure.
4. No journalists or photographers are to visit North
Korea.
5. No American or South Korea passport holders are
to visit North Korea.
6. The itinerary may vary slightly depending on special
events inside North Korea, additionally other places
of interest may be included in the itinerary.
