10 day fly-drive tour featuring Lithuania, featuring
Vilnius, Palanga & rural scenery from £615
per person
This new fly-drive itinerary includes
the main highlights of Lithuania as well as travelling
via the Panemune Road, one of the most picturesque drives
in the Baltics. This country road journeys alongside
the meandering River Nemunas and you can stop off en
route to explore the 16th-17th century castles of Raudone
and Panemune, enjoying tranquil rural scenes. We include
a few nights in Palanga, a resort town with beautiful
long beaches backed by dunes. In the town of Palanga
there are plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and fun
fairs to provide entertainment for all ages.
We have based this itinerary on good
three-star hotels and group A car hire. We can also
quote for four/five hotels and larger cars if required.
We can also arrange this tour using public buses but
please note that the bus from Palanga to Vilnius takes
the main motorway not the Panemune Road.

Fly to Vilnius, pick up car at airport and drive
to hotel in Vilnius. Check-in for 2 nights. |

Free day in Vilnius to explore at leisure. |

VILNIUS TO KAUNAS
Depart for Kaunas (111 kilometres) via Trakai Castle
and check-in hotel for 2 nights. |

KAUNAS
Free day in Kaunas to explore at leisure.

KAUNAS TO PALANGA
Drive to Palanga (237 kilometres). En route you
can stop in Klaipeda and explore its narrow streets,
merchant houses and remnants of medieval fortifications.
Arrive Palanga and check-in Hotel
Alanga for 4 nights.

| Day 6-8 |
PALANGA
Free days for relaxing in the coastal resort of
Palanga or exploring further afield by car. You
can visit the Curonian Spit and the pretty fishing
village of Nida.

| Day 9 |
PALANGA TO VILNIUS
Drive to Vilnius. (359 kilometres).We recommend
driving via the Panemune Road, where you can stop
off and visit Panemune Castle in the town of Vytenai.
Arrive Vilnius and check-in for overnight stay. |

FLY TO UK
Morning at leisure, before drive to airport and
drop off car. Fly to the UK. |
