Holidays
in North Korea - Tour Itineraries
An
extensive and unique 16
day tour of North Korea from £1,985 per person This
tour is the definitive North Korean itinerary, as it not only includes the highlights
of the country but with also many additional sights and locations not normally
visited. Due to its unique nature, this tour should be of interest not
only for first time visitors to North Korea looking for a once in a lifetime experience
but also for those who have visited this fascinating nation before. Not content
with just visiting Mt. Paekdu, we specially charter an aircraft for five days
to visit the rarely visited Chilbo area and the city of Chongjin – an essentially
closed city within the DPRK. The group will be limited to just 12 persons and
will be escorted by a Tours Manager from Regent Holidays.

| Important Notes: |
- To
confirm a booking we require a deposit of £250 per person plus a signed
booking form.
- *You
must have a North Korean visa before entering North Korea. This is arranged
in London (for British Citizens, residents in the UK and those living in the EU)
and the visa fee is included in the price. For clients who will be collecting
their visas in Beijing/elsewhere the visa fee is not included and the client will
need to pay this direct to the Embassy.
- We
ask that clients book on these tours no later the 8 weeks prior to the trip commencing.
- You
will need a double entry Chinese visa which costs approximately £75. This
is processed in the UK before departure.
- No
journalists or photographers are to visit North Korea.
- We
cannot accept bookings from U.S or South Korean passport holders on this trip.
- The
itinerary will vary depending on special events inside North Korea; additionally
other places of interest may be included in the itinerary and the order of the
itinerary may be altered due to factors beyond our control.
- This
tour requires a minimum of 10 persons to operate and will be escorted by a representative
from Regent Holidays.
- Air
Koryo is an airline blacklisted from operating within the EU. Their fleet is made
up of ageing, yet well maintained Soviet built aircraft. As the only airline regularly
serving North Korea we have been happily using Air Koryo for over 20 years.
- This
trip spends a good length of time in remote areas in North Korea. Whilst
clients are not required to be particularly physically fit days can be long and
tiring. Facilities outside Pyongyang, particularly whilst in the Paekdu, Chilbo
and Chongjin area are a little basic, and some hotels do not offer hot water.
In these remote areas power cuts can also be common.
- We
are still awaiting confirmation as to whether the Arirang Mass Games will take
place in 2008 – but if it does take place we anticipate that both departures
will coincide with the performance dates (traditionally from early August to early
October).
