Experience the best of the Baltic coast on this 14-day tailor-made tour to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Discover attractive towns, relax on beautiful, sparkling beaches, soak up the local culture, ramble across windswept dunes, hike through scenic forests, visit excellent museums and sample delicious local cuisine.

This tour uses excellent local bus connections to link up with some of best towns on the Baltic coast from Lithuania to Latvia and onwards to Estonia. Explore the lively summer beach holiday resort of Palanga, discover the quaint fishing village of Nida and the nearby pine forest where elk and wild boar roam free, party on the beach at Liepaja and take a stroll around historic Parnu before heading to the enchanting medieval city of Tallinn.

Fly to Palanga via Riga and transfer to the hotel for two nights.(B)

Free day to explore the lively summer resort of Palanga where the long sandy beach is backed by dunes. The town itself is home to numerous bars, restaurants, cafes and fun fairs to provide entertainment for all ages. Be sure to visit the Amber Museum in this beautiful location which is known as the Amber Coast as amber washes up on shore, especially after a storm. (B)

PALANGA TO NIDA
Transfer by private car to the Curonian Spit and travel to the fishing village of Nida. Sculpted by the wind and the sea, this long, thin finger of sand stretches 98km and is bordered on one side by the Baltic Sea and the other by the Curonian Lagoon. Its fragile landscape of shifting sand dunes and pine forest, where elk and wild boar roam free is protected by national park status. Check in to hotel for two nights.(B)

Spend the day exploring Nida, a fishing village full of quaint wooden houses, with bright blue shutters and colourful flower gardens. This area once belonged to Prussia and it became a popular retreat for German artists and exiles. German writer Thomas Mann had a summer house just outside Nida which is now open to visitors. Join Lithuanian holidaymakers in this popular destination tasting delicious cold beetroot soup and sampling cool local beer.(B)

Take an morning transfer by private car from Nida to Klaipeda and board the morning bus to Liepaja, Latvia (the journey takes around two hours with departures twice daily). Check in to hotel for two nights.(B)

Liepaja is an up and coming destination - in July it hosts the ever popular Baltic Beach Party with live music and carnivals on the beach. One of Liepaja's most unusual sights is Katrosta Prison, where those who wish can take a guided tour and listen to the tale of the ghost that haunts this ominous brick building.

Take the bus to Riga the (journey takes around three to four hours and there are several departures daily). On arrival in Riga, transfer by private car to Jurmala. Check in to the hotel for two nights.(B)

JURMALA
JURMALA
Spend the day exploring or relaxing on the Latvian Riviera, otherwise known as Jurmala. This is a collection of districts that runs along the Baltic coastline. Dzintari and Majori mark the centre of Jurmala and it is where most visitors head for. Majori is home to the busy pedestrianised Jomas Street, which runs parallel to Jurmala's best beaches.(B)

Transfer by private car to Riga Bus Station and take the bus to Parnu (the journey takes around three hours and there are several departures daily). Once in Parnu check in to the hotel for two nights.(B)

In Parnu take a stroll along the white sand beach, spend time exploring the magnificent historic town centre and discover leafy park areas and quiet streets lined with early 20th-century villas.(B)
