Awake in the old and eclectic city of Tbilisi - whose name derives from 'tbili' (warm) referring to the 30 hot springs on the north-eastern slopes of Mount Tabori. Walk through its bustling tree-lined streets at your own pace, see beautiful mosques and orthodox churches and visit its compact old town. (B)

From Persians, Byzantines, Arabs and Turks invasions to the modern Soviet era, learn more about Tbilisi turbulent history continuing exploring the city at leisure or opting for an optional excursion. See some fine Art Nouveau buildings as the National Library and the Circus - a Soviet-era neoclassical building built in 1939. (B)

TBILISI TO BATUMI BY TRAIN
Free day to explore at leisure or opt for an optional excursions. In the late afternoon transfer to the train station and get your train to Batumi. On arrival, transfer to the 3-star Aisi hotel and check-in for four nights. (B)

Today discover the seaside town of Batumi on Georgia's stunning Black Sea coast - just 12 miles from the Turkish border. Bathe into its warm and clean waters and enjoy a relaxing promenade along its beaches. (B)

Spend the day at leisure visiting the old town of Batumi - whose name derives from the Greek 'bathys limen' (deep harbour). Visit its sheltered natural harbour, take a walk along beautifully restored 19th-century architectures or opt for an optional excursion. (B)

Continue uncovering Batumi and its surrounding area. Perhaps visit the world’s second largest botanical gardens at Mtsvane Kontshki (the Green Cape), the beautiful Mtirala National Park, the remains of the Roman Gonio Fortress and the intriguing Stalin Museum. (B)

FLY TO THE UK
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight back to the UK. (B)
