Kotor & Budva Twin Centre

Combine the beautiful Adriatic towns of Kotor and Budva on a twin centre holiday with private transfers between the two. Travel May to October and enjoy independent exploration of the historic fortified towns or perhaps choose to take optional excursions around the Boka (inlet) Kotorska, where delights such as the beautiful town of Perast await. In Kotor, be sure to wander the maze of small streets behind the 20 metre ramparts, and in Budva a boat trip to St. Nikola Island is highly recommended for wonderful views back to the Budva Riviera and the mountains above. Fly to Dubrovnik and transfer to Kotor in Montenegro and check in to the hotel for a three night stay.
DAY 2

Spend the day in Kotor. Wander the marble streets and discover shady piazzas and perhaps stop for a coffee in the Square or Arms. Admire the impressive city walls built high up on the surrounding hillside - a beautiful sight when illuminated in the evening. (B)
DAY 3

On this free day in Kotor, perhaps enjoy an optional excursion around the Boka Bay. Visit the small baroque town of Perast and take a boat tour to the Island of Our Lady of the Rocks, which came to be from the purposeful sinking of seized ships. Continue to the town of Risan, passing the narrowest part of the bay by ferry and visit one of the newest and biggest developments in the Adriatic - Porto Montenegro in Tivat. (B)

KOTOR TO BUDVA
Take a private transfer to the nearby town of Budva and check in to the hotel for four nights. Explore the Old Town and discover take a stroll along the narrow streets and squares which are overlooked by ancient churches and monasteries and peppered with shops, cafes, and restaurants. (B)

BUDVA
Budva is 2,500 years old and is located on the central part of the Montenegrin coast. Enjoy this free day to explore Budva at leisure. Visit the churches of St. Trojica, St. Ivan, St Bogorodica and St. Sava. In the evening perhaps sample delicious white Krstac wine accompanied by freshly-caught fish from a waterside restaurant. (B)

Visit the Sveti Stefan region - home to the exclusive Aman Resort which is located on its own private island linked to the mainland by a traffic free causeway. Speak to a Regent Balkans Specialist about pre-booking lunch at a one of the resorts restaurants. (B)

On this free day in Budva perhaps take some time to relax on one of Budva’s beaches or spend more time in the Old Town. An optional tour of the Old Royal Montenegro can be arranged which includes visits to Montenegro's former capital Cetinje, Lovcen national Park and Njegusi village - where the famous poet and ruler of Montenegro was born. Be sure to keep a look out for the spectacular view of the bay from the road leading back to Budva, better known as the 25 Serpentines. (B)

Transfer to the airport for the flight to the UK. (B)
