Lapland Wilderness Adventure
Embark on this adventurous small group tour* specifically designed to take you into Lapland's off-the-beaten tracks. Spend six nights in the comfortable Harriniva Hotel or Jeris Hotel, followed by a night in a wilderness cabin within the Arctic forest. Dash through snowy trails on a two-day husky safari, driving your own team of huskies, meeting friendly reindeer and looking out for the dancing northern lights.
For your comfort and convenience this programme is offered with a maximum group size of 12 persons.
All excursions on days 2-5 are included in this holiday, but the order in which you enjoy them may vary depending on timing and snow conditions.

Tour Itinerary
Fly to Kittilä Airport in Finnish Lapland and transfer to Hotel Harriniva or Jeris, located approximately an hour away in the village of Muonio. Collect warm winter clothing for the adventure ahead and check-in to your hotel room or cabin. Dinner is served in the hotel restaurant. (D)
After a hearty breakfast, reach a traditional reindeer farm in Torassieppi. Visit an old Lappish farmhouse and learn how to throw a Lappish 'lasso' with your guide, before embarking on a seven-kilometre reindeer safari through the forest. Drive a reindeer-drawn sled through the wintry wilderness and enjoy lunch around an open fire before returning to your hotel in the afternoon. (B,L,D)
Today embark on a five-hour thrilling adventure by snowmobile (60-80km). Drive through snow-covered forests and frozen lakes and enjoy lunch in the wilderness. In the afternoon, return to your hotel and unwind in a warm sauna. (B,L,D)
Get ready for adventure and set off on a two-day husky safari in the Lappish wilderness. Reach the Harriniva Arctic Dog Sled Centre to meet your own team of huskies and learn how to handle a sled from your guide*. Sled through the forest for about 25km. In the afternoon, reach a wilderness cabin where you can test your wilderness skills by making fire, feeding the huskies and heating the lakeside sauna. Overnight in the cabin with shared facilities and rooms. (B,L,D)
*Please note that due to the long husky safari each person will have to drive his/her own sled
Continue your adventure in the Lappish wilderness. Sled for another 25-30km through breathtaking Arctic winter scenery and enjoy lunch served by an open fire. In the afternoon, return to your hotel. (B,L,D)
Today is free for you to relax or embark on optional excursions. Perhaps try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing or ask your Regent Lapland Travel Specialist for more activity options. (B,L,D)
Spend the day relaxing at your hotel or embarking on optional activities and in the evening enjoy a special farewell Lappish dinner. (B,L,D)
After breakfast it is time to say goodbye to Lapland and transfer to Kittilä Airport for your flight home. (B)
