On my last trip to Montenegro we had a wonderful meal on the Bojana River; about 30 minutes drive past Ulcinj, near the border with Albania. On both banks of the river there are small wooden houses on stilts. Many of these wooden houses have been converted into restaurants – Rio and Ponte. Some of them are very sophisticated and elegant i.e. Misko, but they all have one thing in common, in that they serve the most delicious fresh fish.

Client Reviews

The local drivers and guides were excellent: very informed, interesting,  good time-keepers and full of enthusiasm. The tailor-made programme was also excellent - varied, beautiful towns and countryside and the change to see as much as possible whilst still having time to relax.

The railway trip from Belgrade to Bar was the highlight of the trip. Just amazing, on leaving Serbia by train, the border official was unhappy that I didn't have a document from the hotel stating I had been registered with the police so just make sure you have it next time!
