Travelling by hot-air balloon over the 3000+ temples and stupas of Bagan was an unforgettable experience! Drifting over a panorama of thousands of ancient pagodas, silent in the shadow of low-slung mountains with the spectacular back-drop of the Irawaddy River was such a remarkable sight and one that I would definitely recommend be part of any holiday to Myanmar!

Client Reviews

Our guide in Bagan, Htay Win had a first rate knowledge of local stupas. We saw more Buddha's than we knew existed! The Thazin Garden Hotel here was excellent with its own candle lit Pagoda in the garden. We visited a local craft workshop which was excellent. The car journey from Bagan to Mandalay via Mt. Popa was an excellent day with stops to see and meet local people. We stopped off at a petrified forest, this was well worth it and should be included on future itineraries. In Mandalay we were shown around by Bruce, he gave us an excellent tour. For local knowledge, good safe places to eat and enthusiasm to help we were spoilt! The U Bein's bridge is a must for inclusion on the itinerary.  All the drivers were good, steady and safe. Plentiful free supply of sealed bottled water everywhere - car, boat and hotels. This was really appreciated and excellent from a health viewpoint. We would recommend visiting Myanmar and would go again. This was probably one of the best trips we have had. Ever. Excellent service from your office.
