Enjoy sightseeing tours of Warsaw, Gdansk, Torun, Wroclaw and Krakow, where architectural treasures and historic tales abound. Explore the Teutonic Knights’ Castle in Malbork and visit Jasna Gora Monastery, home to the miraculous Black Madonna. 
Extensions are available at the beginning in Warsaw or at the end in Krakow for those who would like more than a week to discover Poland.

Arrive in Warsaw. Transfer to the hotel and check in for an overnight stay. 

DAY 2

Half day tour of Warsaw including the Royal Route, the painstakingly reconstructed Royal Castle Square and the Old Town Market Square. In the afternoon travel north to Gdansk. Check into the hotel for 2 nights. (B)

DAY 3

GDANSK

Embark on a sightseeing tour of Gdansk including Dluga Street, Neptune Fountain and Oliva Cathedral and enjoy a special concert played on the magnificent Rococo organ. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Gdansk. (B)

Morning departure for Torun, with a visit en route to the Teutonic Knights' Castle in Malbork and the town of Torun, birthplace of the famous astronomer Nicolas Copernicus. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)

DAY 5

Continue to Wroclaw and tour the Old Town including Ostrow Tumski and Wroclaw Old University. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)

This morning drive to Czestochowa, the spiritual heart of Poland. Visit Jasna Gora Monastery, home to the miraculous 'Black Madonna'. A sobering stop is also included at Auschwitz – Birkenau Nazi Concentration Camp. The tour starts with a 50-minute documentary movie about the liberation of the Camp. Your guide will introduce you to the historical and political background of creating the camp in Auschwitz. Then the tour proceeds to the museum founded in the remaining prison blocks, the gas chamber and the crematorium. After a short break, the trip continues to Birkenau which is the biggest Nazi concentration camp. Transfer to Krakow. Check into the hotel for 2 nights. (B)

KRAKOW
KRAKOW

Morning sightseeing tour of Krakow including Royal Wawel Hill, the Royal Cathedral and the Old Town. Spend the afternoon at leisure or opt for an optional excursion. (B)
