See the Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace (seat of the Danish Parliament), Hans Christian Andersen’s statue, Gefion Fountain, the old harbour of Nyhavn and the famous Little Mermaid. Free afternoon to explore Copenhagen. Overnight at Admiral Hotel. (B)

Spend your morning at leisure in Copenhagen for shopping and sightseeing. In the afternoon transfer by coach to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo. (B,D)

Arrive Oslo and embark on a guided tour of the Norwegian capital. Explore the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park and visit the Viking Museum and the Munch Museum. In the afternoon perhaps enjoy a stroll along the Karl Johan shopping boulevar. Overnight at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Oslo. (B,D)

Visit the world-famous Viking Ships before departure from Oslo. Transfer via Honefoss along the charming Halling Valley to the tourist resort town of Geilo. After lunch cross the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the thundering Vringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180 m. Descend the amazing Mabodal Canyon to the idyllic Hardanger Fjord. Cross the Hardanger Bridge and reach the picturesque village of Ulvik. Overnight at Brakanes Hotel. (B,L,D)

ULVIK TO BERGEN
After breakfast start of scenic tour along the beautiful Hardanger Fjord, famous for its many fruit orchards, via the towns of Oystese and Norheimsund, arriving in Bergen around midday. In the afternoon embark on a sightseeing tour of Bergen. Visit the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled packhouses, and the old Hanseatic Quarter. Perhaps enjoy a ride on the funicular to Mt. Floien for the best views of the city and fjords way below. Overnight at Scandic Hotel Ornen in Bergen. (B,D)

Depart from Bergen heading to the town of Voss. Board the train in Voss for a ride on the beautiful Bergen Railway to the mountain station of Myrdal. From Myrdal ride on the amazing Flam Railway, a masterpiece of engineering descending 2.838 feet in less than one hour. Arrive Flam and start a 2 hours cruise by boat along the narrow Aurlands and Naeroy Fjords. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of cascading waterfalls, sheer mountain cliffs, snow-clad peaks, and a variety of wildlife. Disembark in Gudvangen at the head of the Naeroy Fjord and continue by coach through the amazing Stalheim Canyon and Naeroy Valley, for the short ferry crossing to the beautiful resort of Balestrand. Overnight at Kvikne's Hotel. (B,D)

BALESTRAND
Awake in the village of Balestrand. Perhaps spend the morning relaxing on the hotel terrace, breathing in the fresh mountain air and enjoying the spectacular views. Visit the local aquarium and art gallery, or embark on a walking tour of the village of Balestrand, with its historic buildings. It maybe possible to rent a bike or rowing boat from the hotel, or even go on foot up to the nearest mountains. Overnight at Kvikne’s Hotel. (B, D)

BALESTRAND TO GEIRANGER
BALESTRAND TO GEIRANGER
Today transfer by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, followed by a scenic tour along the northern side of the Sogn Fjord to Sogndal. Continue by road to Fjaerland, passing under the Jostedal Glacier, the largest in Europe, to the village of Skei at the northern end of beautiful Lake Jolster. Descend to the beautiful Nord Fjord, making a detour at Olden to visit the world-famous Briksdal Glacier. In the afternoon transfer via Loen and Stryn, to the picturesque village of Hellesylt and go on board the ferry for the cruise along the spectacular Geiranger Fjord, possibly the most impressive of all the Norwegian fjords. During the cruise you will pass close by some magnificent waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters. Overnight at the Union Hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY 10
GEIRANGER TO OSLO
GEIRANGER TO OSLO
From the top of the famous Serpentine Road enjoy amazing views of the fjord, before crossing the rugged Grotli Mountains to Lom, well known for its 14th century stave church. Continue via Lake Vaga, before descending the magnificent Gudbrands Valley to the popular tourist town of Lillehammer. Stop for lunch in Lillehammer and in the afternoon continues alongside Lake Mjosa, Norway’s largest lake. Transfer back to Oslo and check-in at Radisson Blu Plaza Oslo. (B,L,D)
DAY 11
RETURN TO UK
If you are flying back to the UK, transfer to the airport for the flight home. (B)
