If you are visiting China for the first time, or missed some of the famous sites on your first visit, this itinerary is perfect for you. Of course, no tour would be complete without Beijing, Xian and Shanghai but the Yangtze cruise will be a real highlight.
The Three Gorges have not disappeared yet and are just as spectacular, but there is also the added bonus of the Yangtze Dam, with its 15 descending locks, an amazing feat of engineering. You cannot help but be bowled over by the extravagance of former dynasties and their legacy of palaces and unique monuments like the Terracotta Warriors.
