I know it sounds strange for a city break but for some quiet reflection visit the Mirogoj Cemetery in Zagreb. Lime-green cupolas top the wall that surrounds this beautiful tree-lined resting place. Inside flickering candles, flowers, sculptures and ornate stonework set the scene whilst Catholic, Orthodox and Muslim graves rest side by side.
