Iceland & East Greenland from £ 1600

Just south of the Arctic Cirlce lies Tasiilaq on Greenland's ruggedand isolated east coast, where the old Inuit traditions of hunting and fishingare still maintained.  The town is beautifully situated in a protective fjord, only a 12 minute helicopter ride from Kulusuk, but this short flight is one of the most scenic flights imaginable.  As you cross the ice-filled sea separating these two mountainous islands, the scenery is spectacular, ringed by high rugged mountains, sweeping glaciers and ice-filled fjords.  Like many towns in Greenland, Tasiilaq is characterised by its small wooden houses painted in various colours and where the old Inuit traditions of hunting and fishing are still maintained.Cross the ice filled sea seperating these two mountainous islands over sweeping glaciers and ice-filled fjords.

Iceland & South Greenland from £ 1640

Experience Reykjavik with all the wonders of Iceland’s nature on your doorstep, combined with a visit to South Greenland.  Narsarsuaq, the gateway to the south, is situated on the banks of Eric’s Fjord next to the original settlement of Eric the Red and the beautiful Qooroq glacier. Surrounded by magnificent green fertile mountains, deep crystal blue fjords, calving glaciers, Viking ruins and tiny settlements  with the inland ice cap only kilometres away. With no road network to speak of, travelling around is either by boat, by air, or on foot. In the Spring and Summer months, South Greenland is dominated by field ice consisting of large saltwater floes formed in the Arctic Ocean - a natural phenomenon of great beauty - ice floe after ice floe as far as the eye can see. During the summer months temperatures can reach 18ºC, when the arctic flora explodes into a multitude of colour with the drifting Icebergs as a unique backdrop.

Iceland & West Greenland - Ilulissat from £ 2010

Land of Icebergs & the Midnight Sun - Beautifully situated in the heart of Greenland’s spectacular Disko Bay region, some 200 Km North of the Arctic Circle, lies Ilulissat, known as the ‘Town of the Icebergs’. So called as it sits at the mouth of the UNESCO designated Ilulissat Ice Fjord which is filled with gigantic icebergs produced by one of the most productive glaciers in the world! With ear-splitting roars they are constantly calving, making giant waves as they crash into the sea.
