My favourite restaurant in Vilnius is Lokys located in the old town. This medieval restaurant set in Gothic cellars serves up delicious meals such as boar and venison. In the summer the terrace is a pleasant area to sit and relax. Not the cheapest restaurant but the quality has always been excellent, when I have visited!

Lithuania Beach Holidays

Lithuania beach holidays are the perfect way to enjoy the delights of one of Europe’s most spectacular hidden jewels – the Baltic Coast. With pleasant, warm waters and fine, sandy beaches backed by rolling, unspoilt dunes, Lithuania is the ideal choice for a beach break with a difference. Our beach holidays to Lithuania take you to the country’s premier beach resort of Palanga, set on a stunning stretch of coastline known as the Amber Coast – so called because amber regularly washes up on the beaches – the town boasts a fine selection of bars, restaurants, cafés and fun fairs in addition to its excellent beach.

A Lithuania beach holiday is a great opportunity to combine sun with a little bit of culture; take time to explore the spooky Hill of Witches on the impressive, forested Curonian Spit before visiting the charming village of Nida with its blue-painted cottages and pretty gardens.
