Every time we visit Ljubljana, we always make time for a visit to Vinoteka Movia. Located in a small street next to the town hall in the Old Town, this is more than an ordinary wine bar. Wooden shelves line the walls from floor to ceiling, filled with great wines from around the world. However, we recommend sticking to tasting the much underrated Slovenian wines accompanied by delicious local meats and cheeses. Leave room for a tasty dessert though!

Slovenia Individual Tours

A tour of Slovenia is a truly unforgettable travel experience and undoubtedly the best way of sampling the treasures of this small but awe-inspiring country. Slovenia is a fascinating place that has seemingly absorbed all the best qualities of its larger Central European neighbours; spectacular alpine mountains cede into tranquil lakes, rolling plains intersperse with swathes of deep forest, warm waters lap up on sparkling beaches, while the villages and towns burst with culture and a unique mix of architectural styles from Baroque to Gothic to Art Nouveau.

On a Slovenia tour, take time to explore the enchanting Ljubljana with its richness of historical and cultural delights, vibrant nightlife and delicious cuisine before heading to the glittering Lake Bled - best known for the magical Bled Castle that looms over the lake and for its verdant, mountainous surroundings.
