What class
of travel to take
|
| There are three types of carriages,
please note that Regent Holidays only book second
and first class.
The cheapest option is the platzcart, which is
a common sleeping carriage with eight open compartments.
Each compartment has four or six sleeping places
as well as sleeping places down the carriage side.
These are noisy and security can be an issue,
which is why we do not book these tickets.
Cupe is referred to as second class and abbreviated
"K" on the ticket. There are 8 compartments
in each carriage. In each compartment there are
4 sleeping places and space for your luggage.
The most expensive option is the sleeping wagon
(spalny vagon or lux) which we call first class.
Like the second class there are 8 compartments
in each carriage but each compartment has only
2 sleeping places therefore more spacious.
