Either side of the cruise, 5-star accommodation is provided at the 5-star St. Regis Moscow Hotel Nikolskaya in Moscow and the Belmond Grand Hotel Europe in St Petersburg meaning that your luxury holiday doesn’t just begin and end on the boat. Enjoy daily sightseeing in small groups of no more than 25.
Volga Dream Platinum
The Volga Dream Platinum caters for those discerning travellers who prefer to travel privately or in an intimate group. On shore excursions is in groups of no more than 15, and a special early entrance to the Hermitage Museum is also included, along with travel to Peterhof is by hydrofoil. Separate visits are made to the Diamond Fund in the Kremlin and the Museum of Cosmonauts. Gourmet meals are included in restaurants in Moscow and St Petersburg.
Fly to St. Petersburg and transfer to the five-star Belmond Grand Hotel Europe and check in. In the evening there is a welcome meeting with the local guide (they will be in the hotel lobby from 6pm to 9pm). Spend the evening exploring St. Petersburg.

Cruise the scenic Svir River, connecting Lake Onega and Lake Ladoga. Disembark in Svirstroy to experience daily life in this small and charming village on the River Svir. Founded in the 11th century by Prince Yaroslav the Wise, Yaroslavl is the oldest city on the Volga. The city was undamaged during World War II and many of Yaroslavl's churches from the 13th-17th centuries are intact. Visit the Spassky Monastery and see the Transfiguration of the Saviour. Visit the 17th-century Church of EIljah the Prophet with its most prized asset- frescoes painted by renowned artists of ancient Russia. Rebuilt in 2007, M/S Volga Dream is the first luxury cruise ship of its kind on the Russian waterways. The ship carries approximately 109 passengers and approximately 60 staff to cater to your needs.
TRAVEL WITH CONFIDENCE
• Passenger health and safety is Volga Dream’s highest priority. Before the 2021 cruise season begins, together with Volga Dream, we will review the situation with COVID-19 and adopt all the necessary hygiene policies and practices in line according to industry guidance at the time.
• Volga Dream is a small ship with only 100 passengers, which means social distancing is easily achieved. All staterooms and suites have independent ventilation, air-flow systems and individual air conditioning units.
• Passengers with flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to board.
• All public areas will be disinfected and sanitised frequently and daily. Hand-sanitising facilities will be provided on board.
• Guests and staff will have regular temperature monitoring.
• The ship has well-equipped medical facilities and there is always a doctor on board.
