This morning meet your local guide for a walking tour of Lviv. At the heart of the old town lies Market Square (Ploshcha Rynok), which dates back to the 16th-century and was designed by Italians and Germans. The impressive Gothic-style Latin Cathedral lies just off the main square, next to Boyim's chapel . This ornate 17th-century chapel is topped by a highly unusual sculpture of Christ, who is seated in the style of Rodin's Thinker. In the afternoon climb up Castle Hill for impressive views of Lviv. With our local guide venture out to see villages and vistas of the Carpathian Mountains. Walk around the village of Slavsk and take the ski lift to the top of Trostian Mountain. In the afternoon travel along mountain roads to the village of Urych located in a valley surrounded by ridges of ancient rock. Here, visit Tustan, a mediaeval cliff-side fortress-city and customs site from the 9th-16th-centuries. (B)
