A Cambodia holiday with a difference, this 15-day adventure visits the highlights of this intriguing country which includes the impressive Royal Palace of Phnom Penh, home to the Silver Pagoda, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to learn a little about the Khmer Rouge regime and of course the magnificent Angkor temple complex. However this holiday also aims to take you off the beaten track to explore more remote parts of Cambodia. Visit the region of Tatai and stay in stylish, floating tented accommodation and visit the impressive waterfall and head to the quiet beachside town of Kep to enjoy the wonderful array of seafood.
And a real highlight of this Cambodia holiday is getting away from the temple crowds and spending a night in a luxury tent near the remote archaeological site of Koh Ker. Explore the Mayan-esque step pyramid of Prasat Thom and other temple sites, some of which are almost hidden in dense jungle, before a sumptuous dinner prepared by camp staff and a night sleeping under the stars in your safari-style tent. Wake to a mist-shrouded sunrise you will never forget.
