DAY 2

PHNOM PENH

Land Phnom Penh. Land and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free at leisure to explore the city. Why not head down to the waterfront promenade for an early evening stroll and a spot of people watching.

DAY 3

PHNOM PENH

Enjoy a day free at leisure to explore or speak to a Regent Cambodia Specialist for ooptional extra tours. Overnight Phnom Penh. (B)

DAY 4

PHNOM PENH TO SIEM REAP

Today you will meet your guide and those joining the tour from Vietnam (ask your Regent specialist if you would like to combine the two countries). Spend the morning visiting the National Museum, Silver Pagoda (containing the Emerald Buddha statue) and the Royal Palace before transferring to the bus station for your transport to Siem Reap, which will be your base for exploring the incredible Angkor Wat complex, deep in the Cambodian jungle. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)

DAY 5

SIEM REAP

Embark on a day tour full of splendid temples. Enter the famous Angkor complex via the Southern Gate and explore the Royal Palace, the Bayon, the Elephant Terrace and the Leper King Terrace. In the afternoon visit Ta Prohm Temple and end the day at magnificent Angkor Wat with a spectacular sunset over the monuments. Overnight Siem Reap. (B)

DAY 6

TONLE SAP, BANTEAY SAMRE & BANTEAY SREI

Journey out of Siem Reap to the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Asia. Head out to discover a nearby floating village to discover a little about everyday life on the water. In the afternoon visit the 11th century temple of Shiva Banteay Srei as well as Banteay Samre Temple. Return to Siem Reap for the evening at leisure. (B)

DAY 7

SIEM REAP TO SIHANOUKVILLE

Transfer to the airport for the short flight down to Sihanoukville. Land and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)

SIHANOUKVILLE

Free day to relax or explore. (B)

DAY 9

SIHANOUKVILLE

Free day at leisure. Why not head to Ream National Park which covers 15,000 hectares of land and 6,000 hectares of marine habitat boasting 155 species of birds including some threatened species. (B)

SIHANOUKVILLE

Free day at leisure. There are a host of islands to discover offering snorkelling and diving opportunities. (B)
