Holidays
in the Baltics - Tour Itineraries
A
9 day cycling tour also featuring Tallinn and Kuressaare
from £650 per person
Cycling in the
Baltics is a wonderful and easy experience, especially
out of the major cities, where deep forests, quiet country
lanes, telegraph poles with giant stork nests perched
on top and fields scattered with small wooden houses
await exploration.
This itinerary begins with several days
in Tallinn, the bustling Estonian capital, before continuing
southwest to the beautiful island of Saaremaa. Saaremaa
has preserved all that is best about old Estonia. With
little traffic and flat, well-maintained roads, it is
the perfect rural setting for cycling. Each night is
spent in one of many homely farmhouses, often equipped
with saunas to ease your tired muscles.
Please note that during dry summer
months - the roads can become dusty.
