Itinerary

| Day 1 |
Arrive Minsk, transfer
to Hotel Yubileynaya for 2 nights |
| Day 2 |
Minsk. This morning
you will have a panoramic city tour of Minsk includes
the main places of interest: Lower and Upper Towns,
Independence Avenue and Prospect Pobediteley, October
square, Yanka Kupala park, Victory and Independence
squares, Island of Tears and Trinity (Troitsky)
Suburb. Afternoon at leisure you can visit the Arts
Museum or World War II Museum or you can enjoy a
spectacular performance at the Opera & Ballet
Theatre in the evening after dinner at a local restaurant. |
| Day 3 |
Minsk to Polotsk via Khatyn.
This town is located some 228 km away from Minsk
and is the oldest of Belarusian cities and the
centre of Old Slavic history and culture. Founded
in 862, Polotsk is famous for its 11th cent. St
Sophia Cathedral, the walls of the 12th cent any
Fortress and a convent of the same age are still
there. The Convent is named after St Ephrosinia
of Polotsk, a benefactress and Matron saint of
Belarus. It is there where one can see her symbol
a Cross which has ever been considered the national
heritage of the Belarussian people.

| Day 4 |
Polotsk to Vitebsk.
Today you will transfer to Vitebsk, known as the
cultural capital of Belarus. Founded in 974 on
the high banks of the Western Dvina, the city
was badly damaged during World War II. Nevertheless,
the city has a number of historic places of interest.
The birth place of Marc Chagall, an outstanding
artist of the early 20th century. Vitebsk is the
site of Chagall Plainair Festival of Arts. The
annual Slavyansky Bazar (Slavic Bazaar) Music
and Arts Festival held in July is the most popular
cultural event in this country.

| Day 5 |
Vitebsk to Minsk via the
Beresinsky Nature Reserve. After breakfast
you will return to Minsk via the Beresinsky Nature
Reserve located some 130 from Minsk. It is a lacustrine
territory around the River Berezina and the reserve
is famous for its birds, natural world and untouched
bog complexes.

| Day 6 |
After breakfast you head for medieval Mir
and Nesvizh with its
fascinating legends and mysteries, which belonged
to the noble and powerful family clan of the Radzivills
and have recently been included into the World Cultural
Heritage. The tour will take you to Mir castle as
well as to Niesvizh including Slutsk gate, Catholic
Cathedral and crypt - Radzivills' burial-vault -
Radzivills' palace and park complex. During the
tour you will make a stop to enjoy a picnic in the
open air. |
