Holidays in North Korea with Regent Holidays

Holidays in North Korea - 2009 Tour Itineraries

Regent Holidays has specialised in tours to North Korea since 1985 and were the first UK tour company to operate in the country. Regent innovates - others copy! Regent Holidays are the true North Korean specialists.

North Korea will be one of the most unusual trips you will experience -most of our clients have been astounded by the country and rate North Korea as one of their most interesting travel experiences!

North Korea Group Tours:
For 2009, our 24th year of arranging tours to North Korea, we are operating eight group tours, two of which will be escorted by a Regent Holidays Tour Leader.

LATEST UPDATE: 18/06/2009

Contrary to recent reports in the media, North Korean visas are indeed being issued to British tourists – all in North Korea is running as normal. We are in the final stages of planning a new escorted tour in October, which will combine the main highlights of our “Classic Tours” with an extension in Pyongyang, Mt. Myohyang and visits to the rarely seen cities of Sariwon, Haeju and Wonsan. Please contact Carl at carl@regent-holidays.co.uk for further details. We still have spaces also on our September Classic Tour, which is scheduled to coincide with the Arirang Mass Games. Please bear in mind that we normally need a minimum of 6 – 8 weeks to arrange a trip to North Korea, so if you are keen on seeing the Mass Games please contact us as soon as possible.

About Our Tours:

Our tours to North Korea include all meals, transport and accommodation within the country, and visitors can generally choose at the end of their tour whether they wish to return to Beijing by air or train (a supplement is payable to depart by air). In addition, we include the North Korean Visa fee*, and for those living in the UK/EU we include registered/secure dispatch of your passports back to you.
We can also arrange hotels and transfers for our clients in Beijing, book extended itineraries in China, and also arrange travel to South Korea and elsewhere in Asia at the beginning or end of our tours. As an ATOL holder we can also book your international air tickets from the UK to China, and onward air, train and ferry tickets to other destinations in Asia and beyond at highly competitive rates with numerous airlines. It is also possible to depart Korea on the train to Moscow, an unusual alternative to the Trans-Siberian train route!

Unlike the few other companies arranging tours to North Korea, our group tours are always of a limited size, and in 2009 our Classic tours will have no more than twelve persons in each group, and are guaranteed to operate with a minimum of two persons.
