Holidays
in Slovakia
Visit in
Slovakia in style with this unique offer at the elegant
The Château from £690 per person.
Built in Baroque style by Hungarian nobleman Baron
algo in 1767, Château algovce has
been lovingly restored and transformed into luxurious
accommodation. The Château, surrounded by rolling
countryside, vineyards and picturesque hills, is located
just 7 miles from the world-famous spa town of Pietany,
and less than an hour from Slovakia's beautiful capital,
Bratislava.
The Château, with French and Habsburg period
furniture, Venetian crystal chandeliers, antique mirrors
and decorated with silks from the East, provides elegant
and refined surroundings.
The Château's guest suites and bedrooms offer
exquisite accommodation for the discerning guests, with
French sleigh beds, coronets and silk canopies, chaise
lounges and writing bureaux, Baroque plasterwork, crystal
chandeliers and lamps, slipper baths and even a room
with its own private sauna. All rooms come complete
with broadband access, LCD television and DVD player.
Many of The Château's rooms have beautiful original
vaulted ceilings.
The historic chapel, with its domed ceiling adorned
with frescos dating from the 18th century, is the beautiful
and unique setting for The Château's Altar restaurant.
The Altar Restaurant offers a fusion of the best of
French and Slovak cuisine, and of course wines.
The beauty salon, which also has a beautiful vaulted
ceiling, offers a range of indulgent treatments from
the Dead Sea, as well as The Château's unique
revitalising Vino Vie therapies, using grapes
from The Château's own vineyard, locally found
volcanic mud and mineral waters from the Château's
well, together with other special ingredients.
The Château's terraces, landscaped in Baroque
style, and natural spring water swimming pond, offer
stunning views of algovce's picturesque hills,
and The Château's vineyard.
