Romantic Getaway to Swedish Lapland
Be immersed deep into Swedish Lapland by spending three nights in Sweden's most northerly town. Fly north, past the Arctic Circle to Kiruna to enjoy the romantic charms of Camp Ripan, a lovely hotel whose spa was nominated amongst the world's best in 2019. Exciting winter activities are available, from ice-fishing by snowmobile to snowshoe tours from the top of Kiruna. During Lapland's dark wintry nights, experience the skies coming alive with the flickering neon ribbons of the aurora borealis.
Tour Itinerary
Fly from the UK to Kiruna and transfer to Camp Ripan for a three-night stay. The rest of the day is free to explore before a three-course dinner is served in the restaurant during the evening. (D)
After breakfast, embark on the forest tour by dogsled from 09:30- 12:30hrs. This is a perfect way to experience the beautiful winter wonderland, sitting on a sled pulled by a team of excitable yet friendly Alaskan huskies. Relax and take in the fresh air in this pine and birch-filled forest which rolls down to the famous Torne River. Break at a traditional Sami-style tipi (Lavvo) for a fresh brewed coffee and a popular Swedish snack. There may even be a chance to spot a reindeer or moose.
The afternoon is free to relax and explore, before a three-course evening meal is served in the restaurant. (B, D)

This afternoon, spend a couple of hours in the award-winning Aurora Spa. A popular ritual is Stavan, where guests are given a spa bucket with salts, scrubs and oils to lather themselves in at their own pace.
