Holidays
in Central Asia- Tour Itineraries
A 14 day extensive tour of
Uzbekistan from £1495 per person
The must-sees Khiva,
Bukhara, Samarkand have been included, but this
tour is not just about introducing Uzbekistans
sparkling wealth of Islamic Architectural heritage.
It offers a broad range of experiences and lesser-visited
sights, including a visit to Moynaq, formerly one of
the Aral Seas two major fishing ports which now
lies over 100km from the sea testament to the
Soviet irrigation scheme which has left this corner
of the county bone dry.
The tour will also give extended time
in the oft overlooked capital, Tashkent, a city which
seems a world away from the Silk Road cities for which
Uzbekistan is most famous for, - and whilst these sites
afford the visitor a glimpse at what can be perceived
as Classic Uzbekistan, Nukus, the capital
of the Karakalpakstan Republic is a Soviet built city
that provides a very alternative impression of this
fascinating nation.
