holiday tour featuring the Belarusian capital, Minsk
and the Western Region from £895 per person
This new individual tour has been developed
with our partners, to include not only a number of the
main cities but also visits to some of the more off
the beaten track places, such as the birthplace of Adam
Mickiewicz in Novogrudok. We also include unique experiences,
such as dinner with a Belarusian family, as well as
experiencing the warm hospitality of a home-stay.

Itinerary

| Day 1 |
FLY TO MINSK
Fly to Minsk via Prague. On arrival transfer to
hotel for 2 nights. |
| Day 2 |
MINSK
Morning city tour of Minsk including the main places
of interest - Independance Avenue, Victory Square,
Trinity Suburb and Island of Tears. Afternoon free
to explore at leisure. |
| Day 3 |
MINSK TO GRODNO
Take a local bus to Grodno and check-in to hotel
for overnight stay. Afternoon walking tour of Belarus.
Grodno is one of the oldest cities in Belarus, founded
in the 11th Century on the picturesque jilly banks
of the Neman River. Visits on the tour will include
St Gleb Church, better known as Kalozha Church. |
| Day 4 |
GRODNO TO BREST
Take a local bus to Brest and check in to hotel
for 2 nights. City tour including Brest Fortress,
Brest situated on the confluence of the Bug and
Mukhavayets Rivers, is one of the main commercial
centres of Belarus. Founded in the early 11th
century, brest was part of the Grand Dutchy of
Lithunania before being incorporated into the
Russian Empire in 1795.

BELAVEZHSKAYA PUSHCA NATIONAL
PARK
Optional morning tour to Belavezhskaya Pushcha
located 60 kilometres from Brest. Belavezhskaya
Pushcha is a stretch of ancient virgin forest,
which in comparison to other lowland European
forests has experienced little human disturbance.
the site is a habitat for several interantionaly
threatened species and the home of the last European
bison. In the past centuries, the forest was the
hunting place for nobility. Afternoon free to
explore at leisure, perhaps visit the railway
museum which has a collection of old steam engines,
as well as one named after Dzerzhinsky

| Day 6 |
BREST TO PINSK
Take a local bus to Pinsk. In the afternoon enjoy
a city tour inculing the main sites of interest
- St Francis Catholic Church and Monastery. 17th
Century Jesuit Collegium, 18th Century Karl Baromy
Catholic Church and striking Baroque Church of
St Barbara.

| Day 7 |
PINSK TO MINSK
Take a local bus to Minsk. Check-in to hotel for
overnight stay. Afternoon at leisure or book optional
excursion to the line of Stalin and the newly opened
museum. The Line of Stalin was a fortification line
built in 1933 to protect the western borders of
the USSR. It stretched for more than 2000 km from
the Barents Sea and consisted of 21 fortified regions.
Here, there is the possiblity to meet and talk with
the soldiers who guard this museum. |

FLY TO UK
Free morning before transfer to airport for a
flight back to the UK.
