2-3 | BUCHAREST Whether you like the
lively city life or the peace and quiet of parks and lakes, Bucharest is the perfect
place to be – discover its historical heritage through churches, palaces
(don’t miss the Palace of Parliament which is the second largest building
in the world) and elegant tree-lined boulevards, and enjoy the cooler air of the
many parks, as well as the idyllic landscape of Snagov Lake and monastery, located
only a short train ride away. | | Day

you take some food and drinks for the journey as restaurant carriages might

the cultural highlights such as Aleksander Nevski Cathedral, Sofia Synagogue

coffee served in the lively Old Town of Sultanahmet and be tempted by the
many varieties of Turkish delights and cakes along with the colourful tiles,
textiles and spices of the maze-like bazaars. Visit the beautiful Blue Mosque,
Haghia Sofia and Topkapi Palace, and enjoy the freshest fish in town in the
pretty restaurants along the Bosphorus. | | Day
