Poznan is a picturesque town, which boasts a charming Old Town, exquisite architecture and plenty of bars, clubs and cafes offering entertainment throughout the day and well into the night.

Take time to visit the oldest part of the city on an island in the Warta River, Ostrow Tumski is also where you'll find the magnificent 13th - 15th Century cathedral.

Crowded with churches and cobbled streets and colourful burgher houses, the old town is a collage of architectural styles and with plenty of churches and obscure museums.

Regent recommends...joining the crowds outside the Old town Hall just before noon each day and wait for the goats to appear! At noon two tin creatures appear from a door in the façade and butt heads a dozen times, before disappearing back behind the door. As always there is an interesting tale behind this!

This 87 room, 3 star hotel is located in city centre, around 100 metres from the Old Market Square.

This small 3 star boutique hotel is located on the top 2 floors of a 3 floor old town house on the Old Market Square. The ground floor is a micro-brewery with an outside terrace.

All 19 rooms are elegantly decorated and have air-conditioning and satellite TV. The hotel has a bar servings its own beer and 2 restaurants.

Hotel Mercure

Part of the Mercure hotel chain, this modern 4 star hotel is located close the railway station.

Rooms (228) have air-conditioning, satellite TV and mini-bar. Facilities include restaurant, bar and fitness centre.
