Holidays in Albania - Tour Itineraries

A 12 day extensive group tour of Albania, its cities and rural areas from £1135 per person

This comprehensive group tour of Albania includes the main cities of Tirana, Durres, Gjirokastra, Saranda and Berat but also spends some time in Korca and takes in the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding area and Lake Ohrid and St Naum Monastery in close by Macedonia.

We use good quality small three-star to four-star hotels and spend two to three nights in most towns to enable you to enjoy touring the country at a more leisurely pace. The tour operates on half board basis and we include many delicious local lunches, leaving your evenings free so you can either relax in the hotel or take an evening stroll to a local taverna or café-bar.

After breakfast, drive to St Naum and enjoy a visit to the renowned Monastery before stopping in Pogradec for a typical lunch of Koran fish. VOSKOPOJA AND LAKE PRESPA
Morning visit to a local beer factory, Birra Korca, before driving through stunning mountain landscape to reach Voskopoja, one of the most important towns in the European part of the Ottoman Empire during the beginning of the 18th century. It is here that the first printing house in the Balkans was established in 1720. There are also some outstanding examples of Orthodox Christian Churches, which escaped the destruction of the communist regime. After lunch, drive to Prespa Lake and National Park, (areas of outstanding natural beauty). The centre of the lake marks the border between Albania to the west, Macedonia to the east and Greece to the south.
