For most people Siberia remains a mysterious and inaccessible place. Travelling on this Great Sayan Ring tour will reveal a land steeped in cultural traditions from Shamanism to throat singing. This unique 10 day tour begins in Krasnoyarsk and begin your adventure on the Sayan Circle! Itinerary
Day 1 You arrive at Krasnoyarsk in the morning and transfer to the Hotel. A half-day sightseeing tour of Krasnoyarsk is included today, taking in the Regional Museum considered one of the best museums in Siberia, and the Chapel on top of the mountain - the city symbol shown on a Russian banknote. In the evening Paradise Travel Agency will be the host at the dinner-party with welcome drinks.
Day 2

Board the comfortable Mercedes coach, our transportation for the rest of the trip, for the journey to the village of Shushenskoye. Life on board the coach will start to take you over as the kilometres roll by. From the window you'll be able to watch for the changing countryside from taiga to steppes telling you that you're leaving the Krasnoyarsk Territory and entering the Republic of Khakassia. And along the way there will be a stop for a picnic in a beautiful area nearby ancient Scythian mounds. In the village of Shushenskoye (where Lenin was exiled to) you will be met and involved in various old games and performances at the museum of an old Siberian village from the turn of the century

Day 3

A morning arrival at the village of Nizhne Suetuk, where you will be received by villagers and walked to their homes to watch their real daily life. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Yergakhi ridge at a picnic deep in the Eastern Sayan Mountains. An evening arrival at the Tuvan camp "Ai" where you will stay for two nights in 'yurtas', traditional circular wool-covered dwellings and listen to the throat-singing performance.

Day 4

A proper tour of Kyzyl, the capital of Tuva, is included today,Taking in a visit to the geographical centre of Asia, a Buddhist temple, a shaman clinic, the regional museum of Tuva, the local market and post-office.In the afternoon, travel to "Arzhan", mineral water spring, believed to be a sacred place and visit to a nomad's yurta, where old traditions still abound. After sundown, shamans will perform a ritual blessing for health and happiness at the fire ring.

Day 5Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as the coach makes its way from the Eastern to Western Tuva, and then on for the ancient monument known locally as "Genghis Khan"; lunch outdoors at the "Seven Sisters" - old larch-trees, growing from one root and believed sacred. Ahead through the Western Sayan Mountains lies the Snow Leopard Camp, where you will stay for two nights.You will spend the evening at leisure at the fireplace guestroom with lyrical songs accompanied by the guitar.

Day 6

Today take a short stroll for health in the surroundings getting familiar with taiga and learn more about local herbs from our knowledgeable guides. The rest of the day for you is to wander at will; in the evening enjoy a new experience - Russian 'banya' will steam you until you feel a sense of euphoria and total relaxation.

Day 7 Your morning after breakfast is free for exploring the surroundings further, perhaps, for visiting a small lake, formed by a mountain river nearby the camp. In the afternoon travel to Khakassia with its open steppes and watch for the most stretched burial mound in the world, its length is 34 kilometres and you will pass it all by. An evening arrival at the Khakassian Yurtas Camp Kyug (Joy) where you will be received accordingto the traditional Khakassian way of welcoming guests to follow by a local folklore performance.
Day 8 Take a tour to the archaeological reserve, where our camp is, onto the numerous ancient mounds and rock inscriptions. Take the chance to see the mysterious cult stone pillar, to which people come to heal. Your evening is free with an opportunity to obtain self-made souvenirs; later in the evening there will be a Paradise show.
Day 9 Today you arrive in Abakan, the capital of Khakassia, for a visitto the National Museum of Khakassia. From Abakan you travel to the Valley of Kings, where there is the Great Salbyk Mound, the resting-place of the Ding-Ling epoch rulers. Returning for overnight in Krasnoyarsk
