on a Whale Watching Safari is offered during the Summer
months and during the Winter months a chance to see
a spectacular natural phenomenon the 'Northern Lights'
also known as the 'Aurora Borealis'. Your visit to Iceland
would not be complete without time to relax and enjoy
the pale blue mineral-rich waters of the world famous

The 'Golden Circle' Coach
Tour
Visit the classical sights of South-West Iceland
known as the 'Golden Circle'.
Spend the day encountering a cross-section of
Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena.
One of many highlights of this tour is the volcanic
crater Kerið, and another is Gullfoss waterfall,
the queen of Iceland's waterfalls, tumbling down
a deep meandering gorge and the nearby world-famous
Geysir geothermal field, where hot springs are
in abundance, geysers explode and pools of mud
bubble.
The Geysir museum is included as a main feature
of this area, an informative multimedia exhibition
that vividly shows how the forces of nature shaped
the country and the people. Finally, but no less
spectacular is a visit to the *Þingvellir
National Park. This is the place of the most historic
events in Iceland and exceptional beauty. Þingvellir
is the original site of the oldest existing parliament
in the world.
The Great Atlantic rift is also clearly visible
here. (*Only visited if weather and road conditions
are favourable during the hardest winter months).

Reykjavik - Blue Lagoon
- Keflavik - UK
Opportunity to enjoy a unique bathing experience!
Depart Reykjavik at 11:00 driving through the
town of Hafnarfjordur and over vast lava fields
to the peninsula and the world-famous Blue Lagoon.
Time to bathe and relax in the amazing blue coloured
mineral-rich waters of the lagoon before returning
to Keflavik Airport by 14:30 to connect with your
late afternoon flight.
Note: For Glasgow passengers
returning on an early morning flight the 'Blue
Lagoon' excursion can be taken on Day 2.

The 'Golden Circle' Coach
Tour
You will be collected from your accommodation
around 08:30 hours for the Classic 'Golden Circle'
Coach Tour - a must for any tourist. First we
drive to Kerid, a huge volcanic crater, turned
Lake before visiting Iceland's most famous and
picturesque waterfall 'Gullfoss' and nearby Geysir
geothermal area, bubbling with activity where
hot springs are in abundance and the active Geyser
'Strokkur' spouts every 15 minutes. A stop will
be made for lunch (optional).
Onwards to Thingvellir National Park, a place
of natural beauty as well as geological interest
and the site of the 'Althing' Iceland's oldest
Parliament, founded in 930. Returning to Reykjavik
around 17:00 Hours.

South Iceland is a lowland region of lush farmlands,
striking waterfalls, sandy coastlines, glaciers
and quaint towns and villages. This tour offers
a wide range of scenery and goes through areas
of great contrast in nature. Visitors will have
an opportunity to stand behind a plummeting waterfall,
walk along a beach of black sand, gaze at natural
rock formations and feel the amazing power of
a glacier (if road conditions allow).
A stop will be made for lunch (optional) at Vik
i Myrdal, Iceland's southernmost village, surrounded
by beautiful and impressively high cliffs, full
of bird life in the Spring and Summer months.
Here we will also pay a visit the unique Skogarsafn
museum of transport before returning to Reykjavik.
A truly fulfilling experience and a great way
to spend a day in Iceland!

Whale Watching Boat Safari

and transferred to Reykjavik Harbour for a 21/2
- 3 Hour Whale Watching Boat Trip in Faxafloi
Bay, including sightseeing around Puffin Island
- an unforgettable and thrilling experience being
close to one of nature's most awesome mammals.

Reykjavik - Blue Lagoon

Before departing Iceland you will have time to
enjoy a unique bathing experience! Leaving Reykjavik
at 11:00 Hours we drive through Hafnarfjordur
and over vast lava fields to the peninsula and
the Blue Lagoon. After enjoying a relaxing bathe
in the lagoon's amazing blue coloured mineral-rich
waters you will be returned to Keflavik Airport
by 14:30 in time to connect with your late afternoon
flight.
