Island of the Mekong Countryside Tour

Venture from the busy streets of Phnom Penh and bike through rural Cambodia to explore a local pagoda, orchards, gardens, silk farms, and the scenic Mekong islands. The Mekong Delta, with its diverse flora and fauna, offers a peaceful escape from city life, allowing for a slower pace and deeper engagement with the surroundings.

The tour begins with a safety briefing and bike fitting at Areiksart Ferry Port in Phnom Penh. Participants leave the city and take a ferry to the pristine Mekong Islands. Before boarding the ferry, the tour visits a local pagoda, a spiritual hub for nearby residents.

On the other side of the river, cyclists travel 20-25 km through village neighborhoods of Cham Muslim communities, passing orchards, gardens, and farms. The trip includes a visit to a local silk farm, where visitors can see the process of weaving delicate fibers into fabric. A local Khmer lunch and fresh fruits are provided before the return ferry trip, just after noon.
