The day begins driving to the island of Eysturoy and a visit to Air before continuing to Funningur, where the Viking settlers first landed. The next stop if the charming village of Gjogv, sitting at the end of a long valley where the roads through the houses and down to the sea where the harbour makes use of the gorge after which the village is named. During the tour you will pass the Faroe Island's highest mountain, Slaettaratindur standing at 882 metres and stop to view the rock formations outside Eidi, known as the Giant and the Hag - your guide will tell you the legend that surrounds these rocks. Before returning to Torshavn visit the picturesque Saksun on the north of Streymoy, a remote village at the far end of a long valley and perched above the Pollurin tidal lagoon. Lunch is included.
