Northern Islands Experience

This full-day tour leaves Torshavn behind to explore some of the islands to the north of the group. From Streymoy head across Eysturoy stopping to see the Viking ruins in Leirvik before heading through the under-sea tunnel to Bordoy. The tunnel has a light installation created by the renowned Faroese artist Trondur Paturrson. Through the day enjoy spectacular views of the islands Fugloy, Svinoy, Bordoy and Kunoy whilst learning about life on these smaller and more remote outposts of the Faroes. In Klaksvik visit the impressive Christianskirkjan church, and be sure to make time to see the exhibition in the church's basement. Lunch is included.
