Start the morning by visiting the newer areas of Torshavn, stopping to see some of the town's most noteworthy landmarks. Next stroll through the old town in Torshavn a Reyni, Tinganes and Skansin - the old fort - whilst your guide tells you about the history and culture of the islands. From Torshavn travel to the village of Kirkjubour, one of the most important cultural centres in the Faroe Islands.
