Sami Reindeer Camp Dinner

Spend an evening feeding reindeer and enjoying a traditional Sami dinner with reindeer herders. The reindeer and Sami have been living and working on this land for centuries, and have only recently invited guests to part of their daily life.
The camp is located 30 minutes outside Tromso city and at the camp you will find a herd of 200 reindeer to feed. You will then be invited for hot drinks around a warm open fire in the gamme (a traditional Sami hut) which is lit by candlelight. Here you will be served a traditional Sami three-course dinner which is cooked over an open fire. After dinner, you will be invited into a lavvu (Sami herdsmen's tent) to listen to stories about Sami culture.
