Silent Whale Watching in Tromsø

Travel out to see the majestic orca and humpback whales feeding in the herring-rich fjords of the Arctic on a hybrid electric catamaran. Depart Tromsø in the morning and head out to the whales’ feeding grounds in time to enjoy the few hours of polar daylight. Purpose built for whale watching, the silent ship offers a unique perspective on the surroundings and can get up close to the whales without disturbing them.

If conditions allow, a hydrophone will be launched which capture the whale sounds as they communicate with each other while they hunt in the deep, narrow fjords.  In addition to whales, there is a good chance of  spotting white tailed eagles, Europe’s largest bird of prey, as well as porpoises. The professional guide will teach you about marine life during the trip.
