Candijay, a 4th class municipality 2 to 3 hours northeast of Panglao Island, is renowned for Can-umantad Falls, one of Bohol's tallest waterfalls, and the Cadapdapan Rice Terraces, often considered the most beautiful in the province. The falls are just a 5-minute walk from the jump-off point along a well-marked trail.
Nearby in Anda, about an hour’s drive from Candijay, is the Cabagnow (Kabagno) Cave Pool, Bohol’s version of Mexico’s cenote. This cave pool, the largest and deepest in the area, is 20-25 feet deep, perfect for swimming, with cliff jumps from 15-18 feet. The cool, clear waters mix with saline during high tide. A packed lunch will be provided.
